Does anyone know the top speed of a Virago 250?

Did a google search and the claimed top speed is 85mph so about 140km/h. And that is for the 2006 model.

my 98 one has 140 on the speedo, but youd have to be pushing hard to get it there... a 6th gear, really. ive managed 120 or so on mine, but no higher.

The guy that i brought mine ('92) from said that he has had it up to 120 km/h on the straights but that would have been fangin' it!!!! :shit:
