I had been waiting untill the school holidays (next weekend) before embarking on a trip to pick up those minimoto bikes I bid on ages ago, and I was gonna meet up with a mate and we were going to take them on the back of our bikes (somehow) from Hamilton back to his place and then I'd have made a return trip to his to take the rest. Unfortunatly he pulled out due to lack of parental consent. So I need help.

I've already made the seller wait a while so I don't want to keep him hanging any longer. Is it possible if anyone that's in or going through Hamilton to Manfeild is able to pick them up for me and take them as far as Manfeild? Or is someone going all the way to Wellington that has enough room?

If all else fails I'll ship them over, costing a damn lot but at least I won't piss Dad off by getting him negative feedback on trademe.

I've already made a thread on this when I won the auction in the racing forum, didn't get anyone offering help unfortunatly. But then I got my mate saying he'd be able, untill he asked his parents tonight and they promptly said no.

Couriers won't take them cause they're too big so I have to deal with Mainfreight and the like and it's gonna cost me around $150, and for minimotos I won for $270 that's hardly worth it. I only found out about shipping after bidding which was stupid of me.

If you can't find someone to bring them down, give National Express a call. I had a bike (less the motor) shipped from Auckland to Wellington recently and it only cost 60+GST.

Awesome, The minimoto's wouldn't be any bigger and they'd be boxed up (so easier to deal with). I'm willing to pay around that. I'll give them a call tomorrow, cheers.

That'd be excellent if you could manage.

Did need to get some new pants and gloves...
