If we are talking about the show, I have to say I was initially a bit disapointed...and in a way I was cringing a little thinking that US audiences were 'seeing' NZ for the first time through this prog. Maybe I/we shouldn't care.

I did find it funny, but having seen a bit of the FOTC on youTube I was already primed to laugh. I was curious to see how they were going to dramatise it though.

That's the weird thing, most of the comedy was quite conservative yet the Yanks love this stuff. It's so fresh for them. I guess you can't blame them when the funniest thing on AFV is a video of a guy getting hit in the nutts with a football.

Actually true, that song is pretty damn clever.

Seems that FOTC were parodying a certain singer during the show the other night but I couldn't pick them ... seemed like it was David Gray or Pete Murray or something. Def had an Abba/Bee Gees thing going in the 'Im not crying" one.

I was pretty dissapointed by their TV show..

They were alot funnier when they just did comedy shows.

I mean, the TV show is funny, but it's just all a bit too stupid. I find their manager absolutely hilarious though.

I watched what I can only assume was one of the new episodes the other night. It was rubbish. I didn't laugh once. Just sort of sat and stared at it.
