Two Smoker's Racing Fund

It has come to my attention that Two Smoker is under a lot of financial pressure at this point in time, and struggling to find enough money to compete this weekend. Even though he works at least 60 hours a week to pay for his racing, and gets mechanical work free of charge.

He is the current leader by 35 points in the VMCC winter series in Formula 2 (600cc), and is 2nd in Formula 1 (1000cc class) on his 3 year old GSX-R 600

I know that a weekend's racing costs around $1000 for me, that's without buying new tyres every round. He needs 4 new tyres for this weekend's 2 day meeting, a wet front tyre, a dry front tyre, and 2 dry rear tyres.

I'm sure any contributions will be gratefully accepted. I'm going to put my body on the line, and offer that if $1000 is reached by 8am Saturday morning, SisterEcho, and Chloe will finally get their chance to wax my upper body, with a photo record put up in this thread.

I'd sponsor Chris if I either A. knew him personally, B. had a business which would benefit from advertising on his bike or C. had any interests involving the waxing of your torso.

Unfortunately, none of the above is the case.

But I'm sure there are plenty of folk who will register a hit on A, B, C or a combination thereof.

A huge thankyou goes out to all who put money into Chris's account.

The total on Saturday morning was around $600.
The weekend cost Chris $2000. He ended up needing two front tyres, and two rear tyres. He would've used three rear tyres if he had had them.
I'll let the man himself post his race report and results, but for those who can't wait go here (http://www.mylaps.com/results/showevent.jsp?id=253087).
He still leads the championship in F2, 27 points ahead of Kyle Key, 29 points ahead of Jayracer37, and well clear of the rest of the field. Round 6 at Taupo will be the decider.
He is still 2nd in F1 points, 6 points behind DocMartin, 8 ahead of White Trash, both on GSX-R 1000s, and 30 points ahead of Jayracer37.

Barring a catastrophe at Taupo, he has both Championships in his sights.
To take both titles on a 3 year old 600, is a big ask, but if anyone can do it, Two Smoker can.
