Bought a FXR150 a month ago and just took it in for a service. the guy said it wont pass its next warrant cause the rear tyre is too big and actually meant for a bigger bike. also its a front tyre? it passed its last warrant with it, so why is this guy being a dick? WOF runs out in Feb so im all good for a few months.

Tell him he is being silly, the reason you are running a front tyre on the back is becuase its got more grip than the crap carbon based tyres the 150's usually run. All else fails get a shinko rear for the bike.

Nothing wrong with putting a front on the back. I'm told it's common amongst racers - just fit with the direction arrow the 'wrong' way.

Interesting, I heard from a bike shop guy the front and back tyres are different as the front spreads water from the different tread pattern. I guess that wouldn't matter if it was on the back, but a back on the front might be different.
Whats the tyre size anyway? They usually run a 100 width tyre on the back, if its slightly bigger that shouldn't be a reason to fail a WOF.
