Does anyone have a workshop manual for a 1987 CBR 750 ?
Im trying to find out the fork oil weight and quantity,
The front end currently is way low on either viscosity or level or both after a fork seal replacement.
Just as point of reference The levels for a first model CBR thou would be great as well

I would set the airgap at 160mm as a starting point with 15 weight Maxima. If it reaches full travel / bottom out too readily add oil in 5ml increments with a veterinary syringe. Given the age of the bike there will be wear issues that hopefully you have had addressed

The first model CBR1000 is in fact listed as requiring an oil level of 130mm. So my first suggestion of 160mm will be a touch low, perhaps. Frankly though it is easier to add oil, providing this is done so in small increments until you just preclude bottoming out.

Onya Robert--To answer your question--I wouildn't have a friggin clue having just purchaced the bike with a receipt from the last owner for recently replaced fork seals.
Its a matter of going back to first base assuming by the way the front end bottoms out at the slightest incentive that its wrong
