Just for those of us who still work in the old system, what size does a 54 work out as? L, XL, 2XL?

Just looked on the internet and a size 54 is:
Chest Size 54"
Sleeve length 35"

I think you mean 44" chest. Euro sizing is size in inches plus 10. Dainese gear usually fits a little tight so I'd tend to go up a size. For example I have a 43" chest so would normally go to a 54 except it is too tight (my brother has one in a 54) so I need a 56. Hope this helps.

BTW what style jacket is this? Is it a Viking? Does it have a pocket for a G2 back protector? Thanks.

54 - L, 56 - XL, 58 - XXL would be my pick.

It has removeable full sleve lining and a pocket for a Back Protector.
I have a 42" chest and this one is a little too big (without bulking up with jumpers).
