Man we holidayed there a few years ago because my family were keen to do Stewart Island (why? just to say they had I suppose) so there we are in Invercargill around Christmas - New Year and we are wearing bloody hoody jackets just trying to keep warm enough if we ventured outside.

Yes... we had ridden all the way out there, and as McJim put it "its like being inside a ping pong ball" the fog was so bad at points that you could not see the bike infront :whistle:

The funny part, is that I lead the ride up there, in terrible fog, and didnt loose a single rider....

Oh yeah. Not a lighthouse to be seen....at a little campground....and not another biker to be seen either. Luckily, the smell of lunch at Waiuku lead me unerringly back to the pub. Whew.:msn-wink:

There's a hard core biker who rides a 1979 bike up to Turoa ski field very often. So you don't even have to go that far for cold weather, if that's what your'e into....harr harr. Yeah but nah but yeah, familys a biggie.

I was on SB for a while when I had some technical issues logging onto KB. WINJA was on air and it reminded me of the good ol days of KB.

Too frequently stuff ended up making him agro, it wasn't much fun anymore for him.

And he's just started a new job (needed to quit his KB addiction to focus on that). He's on the other site occasionally having a looksie, just not as frequently as he used to visit KB. He still lurks on KB from time to time.
