Pre-orderd and paid for my copy three months ago, nothing left to do but how up at the store at 11:30pm Monday night and pick it up.
So who else feels like Christmas is coming early this year in anticipation of digging in to all the new features and next installment of the story Bungie has created for us?

Finally Co-op over the system link and online as well with up to four other players. In-game small scale level editing with up to 8 players in The Forge. New weapons and vehicles. More character customizing now being able to change bits of armor. And video play back of any part of the game you play (Campin, co-op, Player battles...) with completely free camera movement nd slow mow to really show that perfect head shot from across the map.

Good thing I have tuesday off.

Stopped playing Halo 2 on my laptop when I got the PSP in hospital. I'll be making sure I finish part two before I even think about investing in the next stage of the saga. Although I hope it also comes out on 360 format and its as good as the PC version, but I doubt thats even possible.

Are you talking about playing halo 2 on 360? You can but not much changed in the game just lightly better graphics and you have to download a certain program for it off Xbox live from what I've heard.

I've got somewhere the original Halo and Halo 2 for PC. But I am yet to complete the 2nd installment. I was just wondering if the 3rd game is likely to be released in the xbox 360 format. However I was given Half-Life 2 for xbox and it was a weak comparision to the PC format that I enjoyed completing before my accident. I hear that there is a H-L3 on its way soon, although after the hassles having to register the 2nd game, I'm not sure if I'll bother.

Won't be released for PC for a while mate same as Halo 2. This IS a 360 game.
There is Halo Wars for PC though. Plays like Starcraft of old wich they are making a sequel to now that looks mean.

By the time I have finished the PC, PSP and xbox 360 games, they will just about be giving this game away. Let us know what you think about this game and if its actually able to live up to all the hype thats going on about Halo 3... :niceone:

I'm 23 dude, still young enough to enjoy life as I want nd old enough to do whatever I want. I enjoy doing what I enjoy doing. Gaming is one of the things I enjoy. I like battling against my friends for bragging rights and what not. It's all good fun.
I've also enjoyed watching gaming technology advance over the years. From when games like Space Invaders and pac-man were top of the line games to todays hyper-realistic experiences. Now if you still can't understand and respect that then you really have no imagination.

sAsLEX, WETA is supposedly involved in the digital effects for the Halo Movie, so they would be a likely candidate for doing these commercials.
I haven't been keeping track of that too well but my mates in Hamilton have, I'll see what info they can give me when I go there next weekend.

The Cell processor in the PS3 is more advanced than alot of military technology, and now the gaming industry has more clout with technological development of this area than defence contractors...... so much so the next gen of weapons may just include PS3 bits!

Wouldn't surprise me a bit mate, hell they've been using video games to train pilots (combat and civilian) for ages now and in the least year or so they've started using them to train ground troops. And the control systems for those unmaned planes they are using now are almost direct from games.

No longer just for kids.

They have been using games to assist training soldiers for more than a year.... saw some systems in 2002.

Found a Video demo of Halo Wars. Not a PC game as I thought but will more than likely make it there soon.
