just seen an ad for this years biketoberfest at eric woods again - or rolling thunder as it is now called

bike show, thunder run, burnout comp

8 - 4pm

not sure what time the ride starts tho

9-11am bike show
1pm burnout comp at the back of the shop
2.30pm bike run leaves shop and finishing at Lone star riccarton
4pm prizegiving at lone star

So it is 9am-11am at RTM store for the show, then burnout comp behind the store, then 2.30 is ride to lonestar pub?

If you can confirm that Rashi, I'll add it to the CK calendar.

I'm bringing a Honda small size cruiser.

Dunno why you think it'd be funny bringing a non-harley. Fuck em. I'd like a harley but a bike is a bike and a bike show and ride is... FUN!

Time to practise my burn outs. Can only do them half assed and not consistantly! Now wont that be a giggle, my little cruiser doing burnouts. Just as well Im getting new tires shortly. Gonna hang onto these old ones for occassions like this haha.

the email is merchandise@rollingthunder.co.nz before 25th sept stating your Tshirt size and putting biketoberfest in the subject. These are to be collected personally on sat 6th oct (no exceptions)

Fun fun, lots of bikes. Maybe a bit to much standing around at first, some nice bikes though. Can't believe the Pitbull Spyder won an award.

Ride was nice, although just the usual Lyttleton and around past Wheatsheaf to Halswell route that everyone seems to do a fair bit. Couple of hot shots, looked like one person binned or got pulled over just outside where Little River Rally was held.

Met some people, some of them joining up with CK. Nice weather. Didn't get my shirt, but they have taken my 411 and said "We'll have them to you by Tuesday". Pretty attractive promotional girl doing the shirts hahah.

Think I might have a bit of wind burn or sun burn or both.

Was good to go, get my shirt, in its very discreet brown paper bag:sweatdrop, have a look about the shop(I did like the goldy brown with two tone seat harley:yes:), buy a whisper kit for me helmet, then got dragged!!! next door by some Duck lover to admire Ducks:sick:, then back to subtract one sausage from the BBQ, which the girls were working very well:love:. And then a look down bike show street, put a vote in for the bikes that were there.
Then off for a nrth ward ride.:scooter:

We were heading home at the same time as every one one heading out though the tunnel.

I was on a :shutup: Black XV1100 Virgo :shutup: there was, Helenoftroy on her Purple BMW GS1000, Baby Bandit (change your name now mate) on his Black Honda CBX 1000 and SDU on her Black Guzzi V1100.

It looked like a real good turn out, hope you had fun, we did.
