Hell mate, if you start that sort of carry on then I'd better apologise for crashing at Puke back in April and causing the days racing to be cut short for absolutely everyone. But I won't.

Seriously though, I know it's hard to get over it but you must cause racing is a big mind game if you take away the physical side of it (as you know, since you are more experienced than me).

I still slow down on one particular corner way too much on one strech of road where I had a bad crash years ago.

I've had 3 crashes on two different corners at Puke. Yes it does take a bit of effort to come back from - you just need to push it aside and move on. The worst is when you don't know what caused it because then you don't know how to fix it.

Its a bit of a mind game too. I made changes to my line or technique on that turn and try to fool my brain into thinking I've addressed the problem so theres nothing to be scared of. Also throwing money at the offending part has the same effect (like a new rear shock or tyres)..... does the job for me :)

Reckon you need to bang yah head against the wall a few times like i do to wipe your memory every few days to make it fresh for the next coming few days, honest it aint never done bad to me.
