A little bit of advise when cleaning carbs out.Don't just blow the jets out but also blow out all the pipes inside the carbies.
The running problems with one Kb members bike turned out to be a gummy oily wad stuck up inside one carbs innards.
When refitting the carbies Its a heap easier when ya use a smear of water based lube around the inside of the inlet rubbers.
Ohh yea --and make sure you fit the carbs fully back into the inlet manifolds and refit the airbox rubbers correctly -otherwise ya bike ain't gonna rev up propperly. Ask one wellington KB member about that one :killingme :killingme

There's something really horrid about losing the top end of your bike. I can see what you meant about your troubles at Puke with the grean meanie...

Wot's an 'airbox', is it like a left hook to the ear? and wot's this with 'carbies' as in more than one? isn't that a bit excessive and a sheer extravagance exceeding a single carb? :msn-wink:
