Seems like he has some how registered this bike as a 250cc...how would he have managed that???

I would guess that this is fine. Until you have an accident - or get pulled over by an officer who knows anything about bikes - from there it will go downhill fast.
It always amazes me how many people are out there willing to gamble with their safety - so Im sure some 18yo who is all balls will buy it thinking that they are being really clever.
You will probably end up reading about them in a "biker down" thread.

I just love the way that some twats assume that the forces of legal compliance don't know about TradeMe. I imagine that said entrepreneur will be busted by bedtime.
