Whenever I get a new pack of rollies I pop the old 'almost crumbs' pack in drawer.. so for those times I run out before payday I can at least scramble together a few to tie me over.

Not as bad as having smokes and nothing to light with, middle of no where etc!

Then again, who cares. Been 18 months since my last. Amazing how many more kms you can cover when you no longer need to stop for a puff!

The other trick...

I hate carrying coins around with me. So any coins I get go in a jar. When the dreaded "no smokes" hour arrives its off to the servo with a jar of coins... :Punk: Usually enough for a pack of luckies! :headbang:

i had a mate years ago whose dad was a radiologist and smoked 50 a day, one day he just stopped, goneburger, cold turkey.....

i was only about 15 a day and that was hard enough.....i just stayed in bed one day, all day, cos i was knackered and then realised I hadnt had a ciggie in like 30 hours so I just didnt have another one, ever....kinda weird how it happened, but i'd been reaaallly wanting to give up for ages

I would give up but I am not a quitter.

I have had an on off the smokes for the past couple of months. Last week I didnt smoke for wed/thurs/fri then smoked a packet on sat on the ride (have to do something while waiitng for yod) and then didnt smoke monday. Brought a pack tuesday morning and on the last one now. Looking after 3 kids on school holidays when it is raining and fuck all to do doesnt do wonders for the anti smoking thing. Dont think I will buy another packet today and see how long it lasts for.

There is no way the said cow will ever look good.....she is my EX....I broke it off in 2003, but alas still got kids through it so have to see her occasionally
