My dear Mr Man, it's not 'txt'. It's 'online shorthand', which predates 'txt' by a good decade or so, and is much more socially acceptable. IMHO.
You seem to have a lot of question-asking energy and inquisitiveness, and little experience with this interweb thingy; may I suggest this marvellous web page for use in future when confusion strikes?
