Hey - just thought I'd post this up hear to see if anyone here is interested in riding some Coromandel Roads this Saturday?
Where from: Auckland
Where to:
Auckland - Kopu - Coromandel Town - Hikuai - Then possibly Waihi - Auckland.
OR
Auckland - Kopu - Hikuai - Waihi - Auckland.
Meeting Place:
Auckland Riders - BP Bombay - 10:20am
Others:
Kopu - Mobil - 11-11:30am
Make a final decision which path to go at kopu
Satarday looks ok Sunday looking shite...

I wouldnt be posting such precise paths of travel, there are eyes in here that target such events!

Haha - look once we get past Thames I don't think we will have any 'unwanted' attention.
Try and keep the pace down on the straights a bit eh and just have some fun in the corners
Probably going to a smallish group anyway....

Yep so I can confirm I'll definitely be stopping at Bombay BP 10:20am to wait for anyone who turns up thanks
We'll do a pass through the kopu mobil to see if any bikes are waiting also - be there by 11:20am - I'll check my phone again then to so txt ya running late

Yeah thanks guys it was great! - ride from Whitianga to Tairua was awesome - great ride and great company.
May be on the Coro ride organised for next weekend - otherwise I'm sure we'll see you round at other KB rides

I have 2 observations about the ride:
1) Damn good fun. Aside from the slight amount of rain in the hills, it was a good omen of things to come for summer.
2) I am not ride fit, so my arse is hurting!! More miles in the saddle required I think.
Thanks for the ride, and sorry I had to bail at Tairua. Just had time to cook tea for the family before going out at night.
