View Full Version : Party shed wanted

We need a shed out in the sticks somewhere so an all night party can be held, lotsa noise, and mucking around... without noise control worrying. I reckon a couple of sheds around the place would be good. One rural near Auckland, one rural near Hams, East Coast, West Coast... you get the idea.
Anyone own a farm with a shearing shed on it that could be used as party central from time to time? I personally wouldn't mind saying thanks with the koha of a bottle of something or whatever. Volunteers? Thoughts? Suggestions?
I have no party or event in mind, but for future get togethers it would be great.

Hey hey hey - you make me sound so cheap! You're not wrong but there's no need to be quite so public about it!

Hi
I have been thinking of organising a ride to mangawai for an over nighter and bonfire, accompaied by the obvious need to be incapacitated(then even my singing sounds good)
Its a family plot of land so would need to get permission etc. No biggie I hope.
Probably cant do the get drunk ride your bike around the land doing skids(cold kiwi) but can let your hair down and make some noise.
If it sounds good then come for a ride up to the place.

There is also a scout camp place at Albany that can be rented for a night or weekend, power and water, beds for heaps of folks, might be worthy of considering for a bash.
I think it is called Camp Maynard????
