has someone got a cell number so I can contact someone if needed - mine is 0274499115.

I was up in the Mungatooks today with my younger son - its a bit slippery in places....

Thanks for the great day, an excellent ride with great company.
Karapoti always delivers a few challenges when wet, not to much carnage this time though :)
I was pretty stuffed after that, not used to standing up for so long.
I might actually have to get ..... fit. :sweatdrop

Heres a few pics , didn't manage to capture any action shots.

Rob

I was pretty tired as well - fortunately I talked my son out of going trail riding when I got home - I spent the rest of the afternoon panelbeating and re-attaching my numberplate and associated bits and pieces.

We could never lose you Rob - we could always just head towards the rising cloud of steam... does GS stand for Geyser of Steam?

The 450 is in its element in the Akas - it has more power than I know how to use - when you give it full throttle a little flashing sign appears saying "you are about to suffer a spectacular and painful death...".

Glen and I were up there again today swapping between the DT230 and the wr - didn't matter what he was on he was still way quicker than me. Glen thinks wr stands for "wild roosts" which generally seem to always be aimed at me....

I know what you mean Fergie - I've ridden a mountain bike a couple of times from the Mungatooks through to Battle Hill on the Paekak Hill road. What a freaking idiot I must have been - 8hrs of 'push up vertical hill' immediately followed by 'ride dowwwwwn vertical hill' .....

"Honest its this long..." Bullshitting in the woods..
