cbr 250

hi everyone a newbie here....lol......
well anyway got a new second hand bike and when i apply front brakes the bike shutters ,seems like the brake dics could be distorted???
any advice,
trying to remedy asap as doesnt feel to nice brakinghard,or beta still anyone got sum lying around for a cbr250 ,87 model

Welcome to KB...

This is a common occurance... does you brake lever pulse when your on the brake? If so thats warped discs.

Do a quick search of the forum for this topic, it has been discussed in great depth a few times.

nice of the last owner to let you know the front discs where fucked,

Those discs cost a fortune mate D: My CBR400RR has 1 warped disc and I was quoted $380 for a replacement (with free pads) :rolleyes:

I think I'll just get some aftermarket ones in from the US (ebay etc), since they are a heap cheaper.

bought it off trade me,guess i got what i payed for, 2500g,but it will do for my 1st scoot.....went out today in had sum good fun hehehe.

my brother in law knows sum dude at red baron so ill cross my fingers on the price as would like to remedy
