Try this, then. CB250RS -- with SIDECAR :wari:
Here (http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n59211234)'s the Yahoo auction link.
It's tough to see from the small photos, but is that `Harley Davidson' written on the tank and sidecar?
Doesn't look like they've done much to strengthen the frame -- supposed to be a strong frame, but maybe not with a sidecar attached. What's really scary is the front forks. Look at the range of suspension travel!
I'm very impressed with the seat/guard arrangement. Looks fantastic from the side. Silencer also nice.
For $1200 it's got to be worth it! :2thumbsup

What travel in the forks? All jokes aside, would be a fun vehicle for a (slow) cruise around town or a quiet country back lane.

Ha ha - love it. I'd love a sidecar, so I can take the dogs with me. There was one of those Chinese BMW copies on Trade Me a while ago, $8K brand new. The only concern was the reliability of the motor, but you could easily source an R80 motor from somewhere.

Do sidecars have brakes in them? Because I wouldn't bet much money on the RS's brakes bringing the whole lot to a halt very quickly :shit:
I'm liking the Royal Enfield sidecar outfits; also there's some Russian crowd who still make them new? Ancient flat-twin design too.

It's got to be worth it for the bike alone and dump the sidecar (I mean sell it on) ...

Was talking with a guy the other day who explained to me that an old sidecar he had, had an extra brake on the sidecar, so when you used the rear brakes the bike slewed left and when you gunned it the bike tried to go right.
The russian sidecars are probably Urals, a copy of the Beemer flat twin. How about the first pic? Not only got the boat with you, but the caravan too.
