You filthy buggers a ride on the bike :oi-grr:
Had to go to a wedding in Upper Hutt on the week end so i managed to convince the wife to put on my old dry rider gear and climb aboard the Concours
We headed down the line through to Otaki where i thought i had better stop for a coffee and see if she wanted to carry on or thow in the towel and jump on a bus To my suprise she was still smiling and willing to carry on
Further down the line i thought i would test the waters a little more and turned off at Paekok and went over the Paekok hill through to Haywoods then down to the Hutt
She was a natural and followed every movement i made I have never felt so comfortable with a pillion, just a couple of times she pre empted the corner and tried to lean the bike over before we got there
I was a little worried that she would get bored or not like the speed but when we stopped in Upper Hutt she was still smiling but did complain a little about the speed through the twisties She reckons i wasnt going fast enough :gob:
Headed home on Sunday and was a little worried the weather wasnt gonna hold but it managed to untill after we got home
Had an awesome ride this weekend with my best friend who enjoyed it so much she made a coment about doing other rides with me
I am realy excited with the prospect of sharing the excitment and friendship i get from riding with other kbers and the awesome roads we have with her
I always felt a little selfish when i stayed away all day on a ride and left her to look after the kids, now we are gonna have to find a babysitter
The Concours is an excelent bike for two up touring and handled bueatifuly with the extra person and the panniers stuffed full of our gear

on ya mate. Good that she enjoyed it so much. Looking at the weather and lack of interest in sat ride thinking that we should tee off earlier and hit the forgotten highway.
