I want to put another 5,000km on my bike before March next year (yeah, I'm sad). Somewhere greater than 300km would be nice.

I'm thinking Benneydale or Gisborne direction. Not interested in Whakatane or Whangamata.

Sounds good, I got one idea, over 300kms and about 4-5hrs.
Includes some very long straights and a few turns thrown in for fun.
A figure 8 of sorts. Start by heading through Rotovagas so could
collect a few more along the way.

It's not a bad ride, fairly senic.
There hasn't been any objections so far?

Right, it'll do! Cajun's incapable of making a decision today so someone has to decide.

Now who was it that said "Don't go up Pyes Pa 'cause you get punctures"? :Pokey:
Ride was all good and everyone made it home safe. Shame about the close call with Ralph and a ute cutting him off on our way up the Kaimais. The guys in the ute were just being wankers and using both lanes (I think...).
I'll let them fill you in.

good fun all round.
Felt a bit like a 250 trying to keep up on those long straights to Murapara...
Motogirl, love the sound of that twin, and the stonk in a straight line is not too shaby either
Nice change from the staple coro-loop.
Quick snaps of the motley crew attached.
Catch ya next time (well perhaps not on my bike ;) )

Great ride all  nice to meet a few new people as well.
Glad to see you got back O.K. Mike, bad luck about the puncture.
And that BLOODY ute :angry2: prick closes the gab as I come around the corner, by
the time I got the bike upright enough to brake HARD I must have been inch's
off the back end. All I could think off in the short time I had was to flick him
the old :finger: shoulda taken his mirror. Put me off completly.
Other than that it was a great trip.

I saw that too - they were all laughing and carrying on. I also saw the gestures you and Mike gave them :finger: I think we all lost momentum after that...
