Needed some assistance with the 100,000km service on the BMW today. Good to have the kids on holiday. Here they are helping me check/adjust the valve clearances.

No he's upset because he has to hold the feeler gauges when he'd rather have the spanner and hex key..... Told him his job is arguably the most important. Having twin boys they both want to help so end up removing stuff just so they can screw it back on :)

My daughter doesn't really get into the mechanics but loves to rip around on her PW50....

Far out, how easy is it to do the valve clearances on a BMW? So jealous right now....

Yes bmw's have alot going for them in that department. Even a 4yo (or two) can do it :). Takes longer to check the valves on my Yamaha XT600 too.
