LighTech are an Italian manufacturer of very high quality performance parts and accessories for sports bikes. They are suppliers to, amongst others, Ten kate Winston Honda, Team Corona Suzuki and Team Aspar.

This auction is for a rear set for the 2004 / 2005 Honda CBR1000RR FireBlade. The rear sets are machined from billet 6061 aluminium and hard-anodised black. Both leves are ball-bearing mounted to eliminate wobble, They allow for nine different footpeg positions and can be operated in road or race shift patterns.

Please note - they are designed for race use, and do not accept the standard Honda rear brake switch. However, it's a relatively easy task to drill and tap a mounting hole for the switch, or you can fit a Goodrich (or similar) brake pressure switch instead. You also lose the lower mounting point for the black plastic boomerang-shaped cover that sits over the aluminium exhaust heat-shield. You may also need to slightly adjust the rear brake hose, depending on the position in which you mount the pegs. You can do this by undoing the swingarm mount, opening the clip, slicing open the rubber mount housing and pulling it off the hose. This allows the hose to slide in the mount, and you'll get the required 2cm length easily.

These items have been test-fitted to a bike, but never used on the road or on the track. There are slight marks in the bolt holes from the mounting, but these are minor and invisible once mounted.

These units retail for $590. $420 and it's yours.

Edit: Oh, it's on TardMe as well, with a higher reserve.
