My grandma was born on 4 October 1904. That makes her 103 today. :sunny:

She's having a quiet afternoon tea with friends and family at the nursing home where she lives in Whakatane. She gets very tired these days but still has all her marbles, her positive outlook and her cheeky sense of humour.

I got to admit - I came into this thread to take the piss - I mean "Happy birthday Grandma" is just asking for trouble.

Whats her secret?

She has six daughters and thirteen grand-daughters and she is definitely the matriarch. Some think we're a family of witches but that may just be a rumour. ;) On the other hand, maybe she's found the elixir of life :psst:

Happy Birthday to your grandma!!! That is an awesome age. :woohoo: I had an elderly relative die last year in Scotland and she was 104! Don't think I will get to that age!
