Why didn't they have bikes like this when I was learning :)

Looks cool for a 125 fourstroke.

Over in the UK you can ride 125cc bikes and below on a car licence without bothering to take the motorcyle test (hence the cult of our old friends the RG150 in its RG125 guise).
Bet this will be popular.

On that link though you can compare it with other bikes. Shame it only puts out 11kw max against 25kw from ... a Maxi scooter!

I don't think all that plastic is a good idea for a leaner's bike. Not only does it make it more expensive, it also makes repairs more expensive: every time you drop it (even falling off the sidestand), you're up for lotsa dollars.

Yep..
Panels + Learners = Scratches, still it'd look good for a week or two :)

Looks a lot better than an FXR (and especially the GNs) but it wouldn't do too well over here. Its a Yamaha, so I'm guessing it wouldn't retail for less than $6000, and for that you may as well splash a little more and get a GT250R (twice the power).

Damn it looks nice for a 125 though.

Twice the power and probably half the handling!

No arguments there, but by the time people become concerned with such things they've generally moved on to bigger engines, (or want to move on but desperately lack the funding).

Paint it red and become a mini-Haga in Buckets.
Practice that super-late braking he is able to do.

10k? :shit:
That's a lot of money for a small 4-stroke. I bet it doesn't even come with one of these (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=29496&d=1144109323)
