Check out the following 'sales pitch' on EBay.

Not so much of a sales pitch as a rant (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&?ViewItem&item=7927433876)

I think he is a little miffed... not to mention being an arsehole in the first place

Hehe, quite a laugh.

Especially the Hotties sending me Topless pics

;)

I remember a similar EBay auction, selling a pen with a very similar story. I personally think it's a new, rather inventive way of selling your stuff, faster & more reliably.

I was trying to read this out to my other half. OMG this guy has a huge chip on his shoulder but what a sales pitch if ever I've heard one. :)

I'd bid for the helmet (if only I had a credit card) like putting coins into a hat of a busker that played a good tune. This guy should be in advertising. He caught my attention and made me laugh...If only I had a credit card... :shifty: ...Oh honey...*bats eyelashes* :D

I'll say the same thing as I said to the Murkns that sent me the link when it was first posted on eBay (two of them make their livings on eBay).

It may be a dumb, mysogenist story, but I like stories, so I enjoyed reading it.
I don't know who started the trend there of posting life-stories to sell stuff, but it may well have been that guy selling his ex-wife's wedding dress.
Makes a change from the usual usual, I guess.
