im in wellington soon and need to leave my bike overnight in the city

the first place im staying in has a carparking building thats locked midnight to 6am. does this sound safe? has anyone heard of bikes being stolen from locked carparks? i think in chch they just leave the barrier arm down and thats locked!!

the next few nights im in a hotel just out of the town centre that has off street parking. was just going to lock it up out of site

the hotels in wellington that have underground carparks wont reserve spaces so i didnt want to be left with no room for my bike.

has anyone got any other ideas of safe lockable storage in central wellington?

i checked with a mate whos a coppa and he said that next to no bikes get stolen in wellington except scooters which are about 1-5 a week, scooters dont really count as bikes so your pretty safe man, if your really worried maybe ust a wheel lock but you should be sweet in a hotel park or off street park.

I live about a 6 min ride from central wellington and depending on the times you need your bike you could store it in our locked garage at home. PM me if you like.

Under the spiral in the James Smiths Carpark on Wakefield Street. It's free parking for bikes, with limited access during the evenings and full security camera coverage. Your bike will be more secure than your apostrophes and capital letters.
