When I first saw it a couple weeks back I thought it was pretty ugly, but its starting to grow on me (like green mould maybe??) directly front on is not a good look for it though with those eyes that are too close together....

and the indicators are in an odd place, saving money on wiring were they?

Cannot understand why the indicators are there. I mean engineering wise it is : 1. Crap for Aerodynamics
2. Still has the wiring going out to mirror arm
3. Is ugly!

I like the looks of the 04/05 model over this. That exhaust looks like a milo tin with the sticker taken off.

I'm sure the looks will slowly grow on those that dislike it, that happened to me with the gsxr.

04/05 started out at the top of the tree... the 06/07 hit a few ugly branches, and fell down a bit...

this one fell right to the bottom, hit every ugly branch on the way down... Please tell me they can't better their piss poor efforts in a year or 2? :crybaby:

Here are pics of all three ZX10R generations - the 3rd gen '08, second gen '07 and my little green friend - '05 1st gen (and yes, it's Harsha aka Raj craftily pretending to be a Kwaka owner!).
To be fair, all 3 bikes look great with the ugly standard exhausts replaced by tasty aftermarket cans. I reckon the '08 will look just fine with a few mods, but why Kawasaki designed those indicators is a mystery. Can they be taken off for trackdays, for instance :argh: !

I agree the 1st gen is the best looking of the 3 but check out the 1098s behind the 05 pic now thats a good looking bike :love:
