Looked like the tread was flyin of the tyre and he just cut straight across the corner in front of Lowndes, could have been a real mess.

It didn't actually blow out - all the rubber came off it and the carcass had got air in it.

Hope Speedie has jacket now.

Doesn't compare to the weather in Wellington ATM however. Hard to choose between the race and the lightning.
