I would like survey of what it costs each person to get from start to finnish on any license--
going right thru without hick -up is around $400---my guess that most spend between $400---to $700-
Its all run by the business world this license world and their NOT tesing skill levels but wallet ability.

My first license cost $5--00--only 5 bucks and had only 2 tickets and good driving record in 30 plus years of on the roads..My first ticket was from a grump traffic cop for doing 31 mph in a 30 mph area on a stinking hot day.

by the way have you seen the Yamaha xv 535cc on trade me--low kms ,6 speed, shaft drive and 3 months warrenty for just under $5ooo-00 from coleman suzuki -1998 model, red colour---what a treat.

Sorry, but was talking about the KB forum L-plates. Done more than 30 posts on the forums. On your topic, sadly the cost of a license only reflects the Government's desire for a large surplus, and has no relation to the value, learning etc of the applicant. Think it's called "user pays"... :calm:
