Unfortunately, (!), the kids have shouted us a weekend away in Pauanui at some resort for our 30th Anniversary that weekend. I did suggest to the Missus that we go on the bike, but she's not been too well lately and is having some issues with her helmet being too small.
She did respond with, "We'll see how the weather is.."
It hasn't "bedded in" to her head and I think we're going to have to get new ones -(well mine's getting a bit worn and she said it would be nice to have a matching pair of course), so if we can afford it we'll look at new helmets. Time's getting away on us, though.

Nice plan JF.
Chuck it in the calendar dude so I can set a reminder... I don't plan life beyond doing up my fly.

Funny you should say that... No, it escaped the washing machine, but I was in Cycletreads yesterday and was offered a real deal on two helmets and bluetooth intercoms. I told her what a good deal it was and she's sorta in two minds about whether we can afford it just now.
We've had a couple big expenses lately, but I'll see how much of a bonus I get this month. Have to save a bit for our anniversary, but maybe they could be our anniversary pressies to ourselves...
Any one want a near new, hardly worn size XS Nitro..? In red?
(And a three-year old Zeus flip-front, slightly worn?)

Now Jafar, you know I gotta keep you awake some how, I figure a little distraction keeps you from nodding off on that big VTX armchair..:ride:

I had a great day thanks guys, been many yrs since I rode with other bikes, forgotten what a buzz it is. I think my riding improved as the day progressed. Or was it the Heineken's creating an illusion?
