Not sure what I'm doing yet. No riding for a couple of weeks trying to get over an injury. Will see closer to the time, there are a few options on this weekend.

Good one Cheese, been meaning to call you to see how they have been going for you. Thanks for the feedback.
Now get that rear end sorted out and leave Sam behind! Off road anyway.

Well despite not getting to bed until 3.00am this morning I might just head out and hit the Clubman class before the rain arrives this arvo. My arm is still injured but I need a ride. Better go get ready. Might see you out their Chop and anyone else doing this. And don't worry about me riding Clubman, I probably wont do any of the other rounds. And your racing the clock anyway is my understanding.

Well after that I've come to the conclusion that I'm not yet fit enough to tackle the Iron Man 4 hours next weekend. More than likely teaming up with a mate to do it two up. A couple of weeks off the bike didn't help, but I've only got a week to get ready for the four hours.

This was my first race and I really enjoyed it, and I've only been ridding 3-4months so there was a lot to learn. And I was more fucked by the end than I thought

As for my result, I think David Knight will be sat at home shitting himself:whistle:

Danger

Good on you Rupe! Sorry we didn't meet up. I hope that wasn't you on the Yellow Gas Gas that I almost ran into a tree? :dodge:
Well I did give you plenty of time to pull over:devil2:
And while I was waiting for you to get out of the way (if that was you) the Ginga Ninja got by me on his KTM!:angry2:

Possibly (sorry if I wasn't quick enough to pull over), there was a couple other yellow gasgas riders out there, but could of been me.

And quite a few people passed me over the 2hrs, never mind I can judge my result against next year to see if I've improved much.

I didn't realise how much slower you go when you get knackered, by the fourth lap I was struggling to concentrate let alone stand up and attack the course. But I guess the more you ride the easier it gets.

Oh, and I think my fork seals are leaking as there was oil/fluid on the trailer floor when I got there:oi-grr:

Danger
13th October 2007, 18:11
Oh well if you didn't hit the tree alls good!:calm:

Give me a call if you want to get those seals sorted for next weekend.

Buddy L

Buddy L
13th October 2007, 18:20
noticed my seals were leaking very slowly so hopefully it is just a bit if grit inside the seal.
Will have to invest in a fealer gaude? and see if i can clean it out.
