Did anybody here enter the New Lancer Competition on TV1?

Just reading the terms and conditions and if you have had a DIC or a conviction for a dangerous driving you can not win….

Quote
“To be eligible to enter this competition, you must be over 16 years of age as at Monday 1st October 2007. You must hold a valid full New Zealand drivers licence and not have been previously disqualified from driving as a result of a conviction for a dangerous driving or driving under the influence offence.
The prize for this competition consists of one Mitsubishi Lancer VRX Sedan with CVT automatic transmission in Rose Red (see below for further details of this prize).”
Or see it all here http://tvnz.co.nz/content/1382168
Allways check the fine print!

Yeah entered but some chick from Te Puke won it. My son couldn't enter because he is still on provisional licence so just me and Mrs had a crack at it but no luck.

I own an Impreza and I've always liked Subarus because they're just that bit different from other cars. However, I saw the TV ad for the new Impreza and it looks just like any other family hatch now. Talk about bland! Give me the new Lancer any day.

Agreed. I too have been a loyal and appreciative Impreza owner. I can't believe what Subaru has done to the latest iteration. Perhaps that's the GM shareholder's influence...

I said that when the original shape was replaced. The new (now old) ones have grown on me but theyre still not up to it.

There is always consequences for your actions. Criminal and traffic convictions can have long running and even lifetime effects on peoples ability to work and now travel as well. Pays to be careful out there and keep outta trouble. A few moments of thrill can really come back to bite you on the arse big time.
