I don't have the info you're after, but I'd suggest that actually purchasing the Haynes manual (http://www.amazon.com/MANUAL-SUZUKI-GS500E-~-HAYNES/dp/B000WNVGU8/ref=sr_1_2/102-6785267-7010569?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1192077398&sr=8-2) for your bike would be an excellent investment.
Buying it off Amazon, there, is probably quicker and cheaper than ordering it through an NZ bookshop.
[Edit: Two sellers offer that manual new on Amazon, here's (http://www.amazon.com/HAYNES-MANUAL-SUZ-GS500E-3238/dp/B000GTQ6CG/ref=sr_1_2/102-6785267-7010569?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1192077584&sr=1-2) a link to the other one.]
