Hey Dudes,
Just because, the All Blacks failed dismally in their attempt at lifting the World Cup, :bye:then get behind the Brits,as their last match was magical to watch, for those of you who could be bothered to watch it that is.
I got so much stick from work (mostly kiwis) last week saying the English were shit, which yes fair enough they played badly, but hey, I kept the faith as you always should and supported our guys (the best looking rugby players out there,..... btw)
And I also kept saying "It aint over till the fat chick sings", sorry fat chicks out there for that one, and where the hell did that saying come from!!
And look at them now. I had my english flag spread out in front of the TV, and was bouncing up and down on the settee watch the brits weave their magic.
Any other brit/nz kiwi bikers gonna support us brits.
What pisses, me off, is the amount of kiwis who are now saying they want the french to beat us, for fucks sake, how many of you dudes are from French descent, or can even claim to speak the language, or even been to France.
So drop your sad attitude and get behind those who speak the same language, play now with their hearts and guts, and support English Rugby.,:Punk:
You know it makes sense.
I am going to Dunedin this weekend for a Bike Safety Course that Bronze Otago are running, and will be having brekky in a Bar in the otagon, watching the Brits dance all over the greasy arrogant French. Any Dunedin dudes or dudess wanna join me there:2thumbsup
And will I am on the subject of getting up you French Supporters, Johnny Wilkinson isn't the only player in the British team, so get over your loss, and again.....:motu:
GET BEHIND THE ENGLISH GENTS WHO PLAY RUGBY. coz the All Blacks sure as hell couldnt play on their unfortunate day
Sincerely rugby,
Woodybee:sunny:

I know it's confusing as they sing the British national anthem at games and all (obviously couldn't think of a suitable English anthem) but I don't think there'll be many jocks like moi (nor Welsh) supporting England.

I'm as English as a pint of warm beer. No, not of English descent. Born there. Further more, I've been to France many times, and can speak the lingo - badly.
And there's nothing more I'd like to see than England get knocked out at the very next round. England have, for a long time, played the most desperately dull staid form of rugby around; when they're not cheating left, right and centre by killing the ball at every breakdown. Johnny Wilkinson might not be the only player in the English squad, but he's the only player with any flair or talent; and even he resorts to an incredibly dull kicking game half the time. Rather like his mentor at Newcastle, a certain Rob Andrew.
France and Argentina both play with passion and imagination. I'd much rather see either of those two win the world cup than I would see another England victory.
So: Viva Las Pumas or Vive Les Bleus. One or the other. Anything other than having to listen to another round of the dirge that's God Save The Queen...

I'm English and will of course be hoping for an England win, even though I don't actually like Rugby. Football is the important sport.
I must admit, I was always under the impression that the majority of NZ'ers had English roots so presumed the majority would be backing England as a matter of course :)

Is that like when there is a Scot winning something he is "British" but when it is a Pom winning something he is "English"?
Yes, the majority of NZ'ers do have roots from elsewhere, but the majority English? I would be interested to know!!!

No, I think you'll find that's just with the media. English is English and Scottish is Scottish as far as both sets of respective countrymen is concerned.
When I said majority I just meant >50%. Just a guess based on my limited history knowledge. I would be interested to find out the actual number.
