Okay have been told off already :argh: nothing new to me though.
Sarah aged 36 hubby aged 36. Been in NZ four just over four months. live in wellington. Hubby has a blackbird. I am waiting to get a job and then will be getting a pocket rocket all of my own.

I havent ridden for a couple of years (traffic was just too scary in the UK) :angry2:

Anyone want to chat, give advice or whatever please be gentle :bash:

(hope thats enough info, am I forgiven now??)

Good start - intro yourself on here, and meet the locals down there. You'll find them that you and/or like and click with - and take it from there.

Rides a plenty are going, some training etc, and a major party coming up at the end of the month... gotta be a good start!

Oh - and welcome aboard.

Welcome to the Nut House, Sarah (and Paul). Get stuck in and you'll soon realise that none of us are normal. Especially me!

Fang soon. And maybe you'll get to meet some other KBers who are "over the hill" so to speak.

BTW, who's Steve?

Welcome! Your husband has good taste in bikes:yes: Is he a member of the UK Blackbird owners website? Fellow KB'er and Wellingtonian Freebird came over from the UK last year and is also a 'bird owner. It's one of those slow red ones though, hehe.

Hi,

Steve74 - I sent a message (PM) asking about the road race and thought (without thinking) he had sent me the message you sent. Upon further inspection I realised what I had done........sorry:doh:

You will soon learn how blonde and scatty I am......but totally harmless honest:woohoo:

Once the usual storms of spring have gone (don't worry - it will eventually stop raining) we get into the golden weather - make sure you both keep an eye out for rides etc and meet up with a few locals who can point you to the nice places to ride...

Don't forget the KB birthday party coming up soon as well... Its a good way to check out the locals..

Cheers

Make yourself known to Trudi (Mrs Kendog)... She's a Hornet woman...and lives close (Newlands). Mr.Trudi was a Hornet man, but he's since taken a backward step and gone for a Gixxer!!

I had a honda membership with the hornet but didnt join the hornets nest:(
As I failed to say in a previous message ........ the bike was too big even with two inches shaved off the seat. So I reckon a 900 will leave me well and truly :buggerd:

did love it though .......:2thumbsup
