Maybe this should be in Jokes but I thought it might be lost. For those who care (nudge nudge, know what I mean....) here is a page where some guy has loaded up 150 Python sketches. Mr Hilter, Gumbys, Anne Ant, they're all thre.........WHOOAH I didn't expect the Spanish Inqui-----

Whatever the young'uns think of the humour in today's world you have to admit, in their day they were pretty bloody funny. You 'had to be there' to fully appreciate how outlandish those guys were and the comic genuis of Cleese and the crew will never be forgotten.

No matter if you were there or not - if you appreciate absurdity then MP raised the bar to a level where most people today are only trying to qualify!

I never got to experience the time and age into which they unleashed these monstrous sketches - but I believe I can imagine how "untimely" it was. :)

I was at university in the mid-70s and our idea of a good time was a crate of Lion Brown, a sunny afternoon, and Python records on the stereo out the back of the flat.

I can still recite quite a lot and to my delight my children now quote bits of The Holy Grail and Life of Brian. ;)
