Well in my defence I sawa red bike froma distance and it appeared to be moving backwards and I wondered who I knew who rode a red bike that slow. Sorry. :third:

great roads...very impressed with the road to castlepoint, hadn't been down there before and had a great time thundering out there with ldnz and banditrider on my tail - couldn't quite catch ldnz on the return trip, you can certainly get that kwaka moving mate, nice to meet ya :niceone:
cheers to banditrider for my new seat cover - very comfy! mrs yod is impressed too - bloody good of ya...I owe you a brewski or two for that mate:2thumbsup
thanks to sarge for leading us through a new section of road from mangatainoka to oringi - nice little detour that, just watch out for the miniature dogs! good riding with ya
cheers to MSTRS for the company back to Napier - nice to be riding with someone all the way up
good to see everyone out there too - nice having a good group to ride with
had a good cruisy ride back from Napier today - weather stayed happy all the way back so it was a good weekend overall, 650kms covered and thanks to banditrider my posterior did it in considerably greater comfort than in the past :laugh:
looking forward to the next one

The Katana was perfect for those roads. I wouldn't have gone any quicker on anything else anyway.
Good on you lot for not falling off, undertaking, raucous overtaking, or splitting up into little cliques. Channcey shouts a lot though.
And someone needs to talk to bonez about his NLPM - Non-Lucid Passing Manoeuvres - too much acid in the 60s maybe? :)

Sounds like a damn good day, wish I could've made it. However, had an amazing 2 1/2 days on some stunning roads! The Forgotton Highway was even better than I could have imagined, simply amazing!!! Had a great bbq with Ynot slow and just home. Looking forward to the next one :yes:

Glad seat cover still works. No excuse not to do a GC now...
Enjoyed following ya out to CP and then following Meanie back. Silver bike enjoyed the exercise.

Kind of speechless really (that will be a first:rolleyes:).

I knew it was going to be a great feeling to finally get out and RIDE-but man it was amazing.
Thanks to all the tips/pointers and especially for putting up with the Noobies:baby:.
Special thanks to Chanceyy and Rottiguy for playing `mother duck' and making sure we did nuthin' too stupid :spanking:.
I have learnt heaps in one day just by watching you guys. It was great to finally meet you-and roll on the next `cruisy' Manawatu ride.

It ain't a duc if it don't need work....lol My bloody rear brake light switch isn't working, wires broke... Not a normal switch either, looks like it is part of the banjo on the rear slave... Just get the clutch all sorted then this hahah I love it...

The ol 550f went well considering. Any one behind notice if it was smoking at all? Must be coming up for some attention. Certainly not as top heavy in the loose stuff as the CX.
