I had the pleasure this morning on the NorthWester of sneezing inside my helmet. It kind of caught me by surprise while lane splitting.
Somewhat more inconvenient than a fogged up visor.

Anyone else had this happen before

Yep, that's a bugger alright!
Especially if you have a bit of a cold! lol.

No, you're the only one who's had this happen.

Here's what you do: open your visor when you feel the tickle coming on. Also, if you close one eye (assuming you can wink), you can usually keep the other one open when you sneeze, so you don't have a period of no vision while your head's trying to explode.

Ahh booger :slap: I guess spitting inside the visor like that with orifice expulsions isn't like spitting inside a snorkelling visor!

Wonder what astronauts end up doing when it happens? "Uh... Houston, we have a problem..."

Yeah, I usually feel it coming, but this one got me good.
The one thought that went through my head when I felt the tickle was that you do close your eyes when you sneeze.

Yep, bugs and stuff are bad...

But try having a full on sneezing attack (I mean 3 or 4 sneezes in a row) when you're riding down to ,let's say the Cold Kiwi and it is so cold that you have more gear on than the Antartic Scientific Team...

I'm talking Fog Off thingy, neck warmer and balaclava...

To say that matters get a bit sticky is an understatement...:shifty:

yeah laughing your arse right off the bike, not caring if you have stopped or not as the wasp continues to sting your face over and over again , so that when you stop rolling and eventually get the helmet off your head has swollen so there will be no chance of getting that back on and the bike has gone for a wee slide and you notice you have also ripped up your knee....

Not a pleasant experience at all!
I have suffered from hayfever since I was 10 yrs old.....basically have it all year round now, but it is way worse at this time of the year, so sneezing in my helmet is a fairly regular occurrence for me.
You have my sympathies!
