Look,
I'll have you all know that this was entirely innocent. The Corgi in the garden bar of the Avoca hotel was staring up into the branches of this tree, so being a kind bloke I thought I'd help it along.
You can see yourself that it's only a little fella with stumpy little legs, so I lifted it up onto the nearest branch. Of course I didn't realise that it was elderly and slightly decrepit and had no idea about climbing trees.
It is possible that corgis and trees do not mix, or perhaps I didn't pick a good specimen because when I tried to release the dog it started slithering backwards down the trunk. It really had no idea, so I relented and replaced it on the ground as nature intended.

I thought "opposite day" was awesome. Or the one where hes getting his drivers licence. :doobey:
heres a explanation I stole off someones web site
The show's appeal to older viewers has a lot to do with the way underwater life and situations are represented as almost equivalent to normal terrestrial lifestyles. Instead of cars, the residents of Bikini Bottom drive boats—with wheels of course. And once, while on a camping trip, Patrick questions how they could have a camp fire on the lagoon bottom—the fire is immediately extinguished with a sizzle. A flurry of bubbles accompany many actions, just to remind the viewer everything IS underwater. SpongeBob's house pet is an intelligent snail named Gary that only meows. Jellyfish are the equivalent of bees (buzzing and stinging), but collected or appreciated like butterflies.
gives you some idea what a crazy program it is. :)
Coyote
21st October 2004, 17:11
see the party episode, when spongebob gets the invite, the ink was smudged cause of the water, and spongebob says 'obviously the person who sent this invitation doesnt know the physical limitations of living underwater, oh well, I'll just throw it into the fire!'

Just to let you all know, judges (non KB-ers) have been appointed and will be locked in a vault tomorrow all day, only to be let out when they have reached a unanimous (bugger, very tired and can't remember how to spell..) and considered decision.
This momentous decision will then be posted here.
*The judges' decision is final. Any attempts at bribery will result in instant disqualification from the contest and public humiliation of those concerned.

See, it's like this... while I was away riding up the Rimutakas with Velox, CSL, F5 Dave, Noxx and V-Twin (nice one everyone, and thanks, Bruce for coming back up the hill to check if we were dead..!) the judges were kidnapped by a gang of desperados.. got home to a terrible mess, an ear attached to a brick was thrown through the window... terrible business, terrible.
Even as we speak a crack team of.. er experts, that's right, experts are tracking them down... horrifyingly, the trail appears to lead through the bars and fleshpots of Wellington. Oh, poor things.
Stoney? You wouldn't know anything about this, would you? Jealousy is a terrible thing, my friend...
The experts seem to feel that we should be able to find most of them (barring possibly the odd extremity) by tomorrow evening.

It's sooo far beyond jealousy now, it's not even funny. DO you have ANY idea what it was like sitting at home, with the GREAT weather, hearing about how much of a great time you guys had up the hill! (heard the tales from Bruce)............................................ ................. sigh
Still, I'm glad you guys had a good ride. Tomorrow should be good for you too, will turn to crap late afternoon I hear.

Yeah - the roads were really dry, there wasn't any gravel on the road near the roadworks, and they've resealed a couple of corners on the other side!!! :spudbooge But I won't rub it in, that would be mean.

Well I just finished tightening the chain and scraping crap off the area around the front sproket a little while ago, and then I thought I better check my emails, and then I thought I'd have a 'quick' look at the site. Ok - I'm going to bed. Got to get up early to ride tomorrow anyway.
Nah - I'm not coming up on Sun. I didn't think it would be much fun if I didn't actually have anything to do with it. Maybe it still is - haven't been to a track day before.
Dodgey Aucklanders. Just put him out in the backyard for a while to let him simmer down eh.
(Can't get this chain grease out of my nails!!! Grrrrr.)

Yep - Bruce is a brave lad to entrust me with his baby! :2thumbsup Especially when my parting comment to him as I was about to head up the hill was "So is this a 650 or a 1000?" Oh dear. I'd known the whole time what it was but I must've just been a bit excited. Poor guy. Not exactly the most confidence inspiring comment!

Ok! Times up! KB'ers can no longer be kept in limbo by mear Flatmates!
I have taken it apon myself to bring order back to our lives.
No more shall we have to click on this thread to no avail.
The winner is plan to see!
:first: RR: "I could lick myself and get more pleasure than this!!"
Now That is FUNNY! FUNNY with a capital Fa!
:second: CSL: "How do ya like it baby?" Corgi replies: "Ruff!"
Classic. Simple, but very funny!
:third: Badl: corgi : think of a happy place, think of a happy place, think of a happy place......................
Quite funny. Certainly deserving of a chocolate fish.
So thats it sports fans.
Thanks for playing.
I'm sure the Prize will be shortly on it's way to the deserving winner! :2thumbsup

Oy!
The decision really really is on its way.... 2 of the judges had trouble accessing the picture (not being members... and what with the kidnapping/enforced tour of Wellington Fleshpots) so I have had to email it to ther work addies. There is now a shortlist that they are whittling down for a final decision. Sorry all.
All parts functioning very well, thank you Mr. Hooks. Ahem.

Paul in NZ with 'Well you did tell me to find an outdoor pursuit'
. :first:
Very difficult decision, folks- some real corkers!
Paul: do you have a preferred musical genre?
And I'll need your postal address..
Two runners up (once agreement is reached) will get a print of the pic with their caption... at some point.
Will announce that this PM... must go, about to be fired..

Oh, thought you might like to hear their comments...
Go #2.
it has class.... not like "why are all my girlfriends dogs" or something degrading... its tactful humour and i like it.
Judge M
I also vote for number 2.
What I like about it , is that it leaves the actual "pursuit" up to our imagination.
Is he a corgi-worrier, a corgi-shagger or just someone who puts dogs up trees?
A good combined caption could have been:
Dateline Monday: Heimlich Manoeuvre saves rare Tree-Corgi.
Dateline Tuesday: SHOCK: Corgi lays complaint against would be rescuer.
Judge D.
OK - after much deliberation - I am having so much trouble
deciding....
I am voting for...
Drum roll please.........
Well you did tell me to find an outdoor pursuit - Paul in nz
Judge J
See? They really had to think about it...
(Oh, Paul, they want to know when the chocolate fish will arrive..?)

Firstly I need some time to consider all tho's who PM'ed me messages of support for being ripped off from winning this fine competition.
Thankyou,, You know who your are.
Your inspairation and support has meant alot in these last few hours!
And while I understand the ground swell of feeling, that Purhapes "Paul in NZ" should without delay, undergo a drug test. I'm secure in the fact that, well,, who are we going to trust in Wellington to be objective in their persuit of Proformace Enhances! Not that I For one moment have any doult that the good "Paul in NZ" would resort to such tatics, But as he was pretty fast out of the blocks with that Witty Witty (or so I'm trying to believe) caption. One wonders if a quick google search for 'Well you did tell me to find an outdoor pursuit' wouldn't uncover some PLAGIARSTIC tendencies of said "winner" <_<
