Hi there Del, and welcome to KB. No, never owned an RD, but remember them VERY well, as a friend had one. Hope you can join in regularly. We have several regular members in the UK.

I see from your second photo that you're dressed for the British summer....no, just kidding. I was over last summer, and know how hot it was! Unfortunately I did'nt get to do any riding, so my only experiences on Brit roads have all been from inside of rental cars. Shame on me!

Er, don't worry about Wari. He can't help himself.
Nice to see a pic of Baaaaaath. Lived there until nearly a year ago, myself. Lovely town, apart from the hordes of tourists impeding yer every movement. Know any of the pubs there?

Hi and welcome!
I had a RD350LC for a year and a half (misspent youth), had many close calls with men in blue (back in South Africa) and blasted many of the boy racers too!

Welcome aboard. Nice RDs. I used to have a red 400C myself, and two of my brothers had blue 400C's at the same time. Looked impressive on the front lawn on a Sunday.

Lovely.

Hi

I've just joined the forum and am itnerested in your bikes. I have an RD400E (actually I think it might be an F but I'm going to check that) and I'm not happy with the electrics. Do you know of any way of updating the electrics to make them more reliable and 'powerful' (for want of a better word). I have replaced the battery but that has only helped to a point. An example is that the indicators fail to flick on an off unless the revs are increased while stopped.

Regards

Welcome to KB! I used to own an RD350B in the 70's. Very cool bikes - I keep checking them out on TradeMe (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Motorbikes/mcat-0001-0026-1255-.htm) but have resisted so far...

I was in Bath in July (yes, as a tourist) and have almost the same photo but without the bike ;) The roads around there looked pretty good for riding.
