Last Saturday after a night out....I stop to get gas at the servo I use being prepaid at that time of night I paid my $10 for the gas and went to fill up...knowing I had already paid and the attendant and loaded the amount into the pump...I was plensently surprised when the to see my $10 fill the tank...sweet haven't used as much gas as I had first thought and was even more stoked when I hung the pump up to see I had just loaded 15 litrers into my bike for $10 :niceone:

but being the honest bugger I am:rolleyes: I went and spoke to the attendant and said That I only wanted $10 as that was all I had on me he looked at his stuff up and just said sweet don't worry about it.......that man deserves a:apint:

I bought a packet of cigs and two days later I saw that I had been charged $0.70 instead of $10.70.

Then I also realised that it's the shop that never offers me the $.05c when I buy a $19.95 or $29.95 product.

I don't care about 5c, but they put me in the position of either asking for it (and shaming myself) or letting them have it- which gives me the impression that they are money hungry scumbags.

F*** them, I kept the $10 and will never go back there! XD

Maybe there should be some new legislation - such as: "A business or vendor may NOT charge a price or amount for a product or service that CANNOT be fully paid for by cash settlement."

My 5c worth...

we are making the move (a slow one at that) to a cashless society. It is not a bad thing. I dont carry cash and do everything electronically. Works for me. Less to worry about.
