Your best bet (unless you are totally painting every piece) would be to take an original bit in to your paint supplier and get it colour matched... things fade and the code might have been accurate for ...hmm.. about a month!

Congrats to all you people that finished your exams and assignments. And heck it must be good to be finished with your entire degree, PT!
I had 3 exams this semester, engineering drawing didn't have one. So I had exams on monday, wednesday and friday this week, finished my last one this morning!
I studied my arse off for this morning's exam, engineering mechanics 2, and it paid off, I think :)
Can't wait for the results...
I'm soooo glad engineering doesn't have any long essays you have to write, I think they were worse than the exams when I was doing my 1/2 BA.

This is the end of my first year. I'm 23, but kinda stuffed around a bit and did half a BA in sociology and psychology before starting engineering.
I think I've made the right choice to study engineering though, it suits me way better than psych/sociology.

dunno yet erik.. This coming year will be the first of my specialisation, and even then it is no different from the standard mechanical degree. After the middle of the third year the two degrees start to differ in the prescribed papers. Of course there are chances for elective papers to be taken over the course of the degree, but I am nto sure what those will be yet. I have to find out if I am approved for the course, pick a timetable and elective papers and get that signed off by the course supervisor. That should all be happening around christmas time, as results for the second semester are supposed to come out on the 20th of December.

Good work none the less!

But I am well prepared for the WoF!
Milky
30th November 2004, 19:31
I really dont know for certain... The only percentage I know of is the engineering design paper - fully internally assessed - 81% got me a B+. For the rest of the papers, I have absolutely no idea as they do not release the marks that you get in the final exams. I guess that overall:
70-75 = B-
75-80 = B
80-85 = B+
85-90 = A-
90-95 = A
95-100 = A+
There may be some changes between departments, but I dont know if it is based on a 6th form certificate system (only a certain number of each grade) or pure percentge based grades :spudwhat:
