Hey guys, can anybody tell me anything about this bike as I'm really keen to buy it. What do you think would be a good price as well? It's for sale from a dealer.

Best 250cc bike around. (Totally unbiased opinion, of course...)
Will definitely keep yoy entertained while you're on your L-plate, and will keep up with pretty much all the other 250s - GSX250s etc.
Naked, which means you don't have to worry about damage to the fairings if you drop the bike while you're learning (If you drop the bike, the only damage will be a few scratches and losing the tip of the clutch/brake levers... trust me :crybaby:)
A touch thirstier than most, as they like to be revved quite high - but that pays itself off with the 'fun factor'!
Go for it!
Edit: Oh, and if you want more info on the bike, Synapse (http://www.synapse.ne.jp/s-hara/bandit/ban-spece.html) is the place to get it! :)

Can't say I like the colour. But my colleague had a black one. Very nice bikes they are. Performance wise I'm not sure how well they go. Can't give you any advice on price either. But see if you can find some prices on Trade Me or view old listings here on KB and gauge an idea for price.
Just keep in mind that dealers are always gonna start high :)

Thanks for the feedback guys, actually did not end up getting this particular one, but bought another one, same year and millage, but black at a lower price.
Mate took me for a test ride on it and with both of us on it (im a fat bastard, at least thats what my gf says) and still had really good power to it for a 250cc.
......too used to riding on the back of his R6 :)
So, i was told there are people in chch that have rides to akaroa or something every so often?

Hey mate :)
Here's the thread (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=57489) that got it all going. It's a fookin' mile long (over 25 pages now I think, and mostly bullshit!), but the basic gist of it is that we meet at the BK Moorhouse carpark at 6pm each Wednesday evening for a 6.30pm departure. Even if you don't have a bike, you could always head down to the meet anyway and check some bikes out / meet some people. We won't be there if the weather's no good though!
Cheers
