My old bikes... GS450 reg 50HQI, CB650 46HKO. Where are they now?

Hi there

Was cleaning out garage (as instructed by she who lets me ride) and found some old photos of me and a couple of my old bikes. Lucky the rego's were readable.

Interested if anyone is still riding them... Cant remember the year of the bikes but ummm old.

Suzuki GS450 Black rego. 50HQI... my first ever new bike... dropped the fuker on Deans Ave ChCh after owning it a week... as mum STILL reminds me.

Honda CB650 Red rego. 46HKO. Never binned. I loved this bike.

Any one seen my babies? Copies of historical photos to those who turn up some info :niceone:

Look them up the same way you'd look up a maniac cage driver, you can see who and what address they are registered to, by doing a search on PPSR. It only costs $1 each if you have a credit card. See the threads for checking whether there's money owing on a bike, it's the same method.

You could try the VIR thing to see if they are still on the road (free) and if they are then do Steam's thing to get the details.

hmmmmmm

well i know where my first zxr is.....

sitting outside the new owners house...painted primer grey...no wof.....no reg.....

rusted headers and rusted discs.......wheels are dirty as hell....just wasting away....saw it the other day....couldve cried.....

was my baby :(

i said how much to buy it back.....because i could bear(sp?) to see it in that state.....

but he want $3k and it's not worth that in it's state with 61,000 on the clock.... i'm gutted...i thought he would take care of it.

Now there's an idea for a sticky - somewhere to post details of previous bikes and see who has memories of the very same bike.

Funny old world... I was with the Ulysses folk on Sunday and the guy that used to own my Beemer wandered over and started chatting about K75's. It turned out I was riding his old bike... even tho' the reg is changed he recognised it and was happy about the state of it. :2thumbsup

Just as well I had spent most of Sat arvo cleaning it after the GC (what a mess baked on cow shit makes).
