Anyone done a runner from the christmas tree lights?

Obviously very few would implicate themselves on a public forum but they may have a "friend" who has done the splits from a cop.


I have a "friend" who once did it (more than once) & got away every time, with apparent ease.


Does anyone know what the normal procedure is for them? Do they normally radio ahead to get another cop car to try and intercept the runner? Or just bang the wheel of the comma-dorie swearing n cursing "those damnd peskie bikers" :angry2:

I saw an ad in the weekend papers with Christmas Trees and decorations and .....apparently it is 60 and a few sleeps till santa comes..........that is B/S Santa came early to my house ;)

I know a guy who knows a guy who knows another guy (no kidding), tried outrunning the cops on this ZX10 and succeded, however the Police Helo was a little harder to outrun, end result, the cops found him after the Helo pointed them in the right direction. If they send Eagle out, your pretty much stuffed.

The cops are there to look after you, and everyone else. If you put yourself and/or others in danger, they are there to stop and/or penalise you for your and other peoples' safety. Don't run, just don't ride outside the law when there are others around.

What the criminals in America do if the helicopter gets sent up is they run for an Airport. Those choppers probably aren't allowed in the flightpath's of the heavies.

Well I have a work mate that decided to do a runner in the city….The police were on to him bloody fast road blocks and he is no slug on the bike …$3000 and 12 months loss of license….. what real pissed him off was he had to pay before he left the court and the other very low life paid it off by doing PD he had no option
Now summer is here ;-( no dreams of riding

The cops just get airport security and cops to bag the bike when it gets to the airport area.:doh:
