Hi Guys and girls

Was just wondering if anyone was riding up to the Suzuki Track day on Sat and if so could I tag along for the exciting!! ride up? :D

If there are a few then maybe we could use this thread to organize all meeting up.

Cheers

I believe the Hitchers and possibly the Kendogs are going up for it.

The Hitchers will be up for it. Mrs H has a Date With Destiny. Track records for GSF650s are in imminent danger.

Mr and Mrs H do you mind if I tag along with your good selves then? I'm staying in Cambourne at the moment so how do you fancy meeting just past the roundabout after plimmerton?

If that suits what time do you think will be best, I'm thinking around 7.30

Well blow me and bugger me too - I'll have to get up early...

I shall confer with the Queen Of The Bandits who may have to be lightly chiselled from her boudoir at an hour with which she lacks familiarity.

I am thinking I will go up the night before, but if not I will join the morning ride as well.
Mrs Kendog is waiting for the excellent weather we are going to have to be confirmed :sunny:

If it's raining you can count me out I'm not getting soaked getting there.

Will you be there Mr WT? or is it Sir WT these days???

Hope the Sun god is looking down on us all this weekend and we all get some fanTAZic riding in.

Is that the one on the left just before you get to the petrol station where you turn right into the track? If so how much is it a night there? I'm so used to doing everything on the day for Manfeild due to work but I'm off this Friday so am thinking I might go up friday afternoon/evening.

As another thought now then does anyone else want to do that and share a room to keep costs down?

I don't know why I didn't think of this before! well I do it's cause I'm not used to having the time off

CHRIS I hope your right :D

(We're on our way to Ruapuna on the 9th). So if you don't catch up with us anywhere before Jan 8th ................. you'll know where we'll be. Cheers Sue (Plugz 4 Lugz) 027 659 1583

Ok I'v decided to ride up Sat morning as I've got a fare bit to do tomorrow (today for all of you as I'm just going to bed)

So will be at that bit you can pull into (I think it's a police weigh station but not sure) just past the roundabout at plimmerton at 7.15 and will be leaving no later than 7.30.

So anyone wanting to join me I shall see you there.

Thanks

Taz

The Hitcher Ensemble (Casey Stoner Hitcher and her pit crew) will be leaving Ngaio some time between 7:00 and 7:15. If we see you we see you, but please don't wait if we're not there by your preferred departure time.

I am definitely going to attempt to be there (though it's freakin early!). I can't ride very well so you may have to be gentle with me...

So I guess one is not expected to be there particularly soon after the gates open at 7:30, for the signing on? I'll probably still go a bit earlier than 7, though - especially since I'm trailering 'just in case'. I don't want to be still frantically getting stuff compliant when it comes to briefing time (can you tell I've never done this before?)

Sweet as Kendog, we not leaving tauranga, until about 3-4, depends on what time motogirl finshed, so most likey won't be manfield until 8ish but fire us a txt when ya get there, and we let you know how we are.

We be pretty easy to spot bright red van with 'Rider' custom seats on side of it, with the yellow devil inside.

We're leaving Tauranga at 2.30 and I think it's only 5-5 1/2 hours to Fielding?

As the briefing is at 9.15, and you should have registered and been scrutinized before that time, I am not sure you are leaving early enough.

Ouch! The accompanying documentation was a bit vague on that point. Having just re-read these, I thought that "scrutineering" applied to non-road registered bikes and that pointing at the WOF would be sufficient?

I'm assuming I at least also have to point to my taped up headlight, missing mirrors and leather gloves etc ...

I'm also wondering if it's ok to remove my indicators - will find out when I get there, I guess, but would like to leave sufficient time to remove them if I can.

It all worked out in the end, was a little more relaxed with the scrutineering than other track days I have been to.
Was a great day. I have photos to share and will do a write up when I am a little more awake.
