The question has been asked about the instance of male sexual abuse. Has it ever happened to you? This is a sexist poll due to the existence of a similar poll relating to sexual abuse of females. You will note there are more options here - due to the questions raised in the other thread.

No stories required. No witch hunt. Just an anonymous response.

I takes one with the courage of conviction to say something. Amazing how many it takes to stop it being said. It will be said if the words want to come.

i have only been sexually abused by myself, as far as I can remember......???which is not that far due to the wiskey etc.....

All I will say is, I was taken off my parents at 2 months odd and went through the social walfare system till I joined the navy at the age of 17. And many of foster families I went through were just after the extra money from the government... and didn't care for the kids in there care :(

It is supposed to be anonymous... there is no pressure for anyone to answer the poll.

I chose option 2. Used to get "a hiding" regularly by my old man. Hated it. Hated him. Fucked me up for a long time - finally getting my shit together.

When i was a kid it was just called a f*cking good hiding - I got quite a few of those but probably deserved more. These days it would be called monstrous physical abuse. So how do I answer the poll?
