I have been searching for some TT250 parts and have managed to find new guards out of the UK for a reasonable price but I can't find any side covers or number boards. So I am thinking I will make some aluminium ones the same shape... but I need a pattern! So have any members out there got a TT250 and could provide me with a couple of paper patterns of the shap and maybe a photo or two for location of them on the bike? Anyone got a better idea?
Mine is the uglier one below, the pretty one is what I am working towards!

dad has a 1982 Yamaha TT250 rotting away in his shed.
flick him an email and tell him you were talking to Jeremy and he will be able to measure them up for you etc.

Thanks Jeremy, I've sent him an email so lets hope he's in a good mood with you :) I'll post some pics of them when they are made.

Nice bike. Yes she's a little rough but she goes surprisingly well.
I went out last weekend into the forest and rode for three hours up and down fire breaks and the only problem was a hole in the gas tank after one minor spill. I have since soldered up the tank and she's back ready for more.
I need to replace both tyres, the front one is probably the original and it was only ever a universal tyre so not a lot of help down hill.
Good strong engine with a little oil seepage around the top front, looks like the head gasket.

This isn't really the right forum for this discussion so I have started a new one here:
